Dallas was much more than business to me. He would call me often and usually early Saturday mornings and talk about business, family, faith and politics. In less than a year, Dallas called me his friend and I felt that way. He loved his daughters, Dodi and Shaun more than life. On many occasions he told me of their virtues. On his birthday, he read a letter he had received from Lauren and could barely get through it for the tears. He confided in me that his intensity was hardest on the ones he loved. I respected his honesty with me and I miss him NOW and pray that God has extended his grace to him forever.
